I am now ploughing through the exciting plethora of background emails you have just sent; thought I'd add details as they occur to me. Mom's parents left Warsaw in 1904 and remained in London, Everard St, near Brick Lane, where Esther was born in 1905. For some reason we have a copy of Esther's birth certificate. That same year, Grandpa left for Canada and eventually the States (illegeally); when Grandma joined him she entered via Minneapolis and then they settled in St Louis.
